COP26 Snapshots: community work with local people

There are big commitments being made at COP26. But we are proud to be working with communities to do something concrete for the environment. The ITF team have been up in Glasgow, helping local people to plant trees in the sunshine, wind and rain.

Carmunnock Primary School planted 370 trees!

We planted a beech tree at Glasgow Clyde College. This tree is the kick off to a wonderful partnership planting hundreds of trees in the college grounds, giving opportunities for education and engagement with environmental issues, as well as increasing biodiversity, making the site more beautiful, providing mental health benefits and so much more.
