ITF’s Trees journal is now available to download here, packed with interesting features and articles including Greenpeace Africa on challenging corporate deforestation; a return to Ethiopia to look how ITF tree nurseries are helping to restore the Wof Washa Forest and an investigation into how farmers are working on the front line to reverse desertification.
In celebration of our 90th year we have a foreword from HRH Prince of Wales and an exclusive conversation with Catriona Baker on her recollections of life with ITF founder Richard St. Barbe Baker.
On his recent visit to Malawi, ITF Director Andy Egan presented copies of the journal to members of one of our new partners, CAYO (Counselling of the Adolescent and Youth Organisation). CAYO approached our long-term partner, Lilongwe Wildlife Trust, and are now leading a new Clean and Green project in the Kawale area of the city. Andy met 30 members of the group and said they “were an inspiration to young people everywhere.”
