Little Snug was created literally at the kitchen table when co-founder Russell Lambert was struggling to find a kitchen table of the right size when he moved with his young family to a new home. Calling his carpenter friend, Daniel Barlow, a beautiful new table was made and word quickly spread with Dan making tables for others. Now Little Snug are offering 22 table sizes in eight different colour sizes in 2,441 size variations.

In starting this new venture, Little Snug not only wanted to make stylish furniture which can be tailored made to the customers own sizes, but also to make their enterprise as sustainable as possible including the planting of trees.

Little Snug and ITF

Little Snug approached ITF as it is one of the oldest forestry organisations in the world and who over the years have planted hundreds of millions of trees. Also their offices are only 5 miles apart.

Little Snug have pledged to plant 25 trees for every item sold from its kitchen furniture range  which will be going to support ITF’s Sustainable Community Forestry Programme. This is currently supporting 12 projects in Africa in Cameroon, Ghana, Malawi, Mali, Kenya and Uganda.

“Here at Little Snug we take our environmental credentials seriously. After all we’re taking a beautiful natural resource and hand-crafting it into fabulous pieces of furniture!  Which means we have to give a little back to nature which is why we are partnering with ITF.”
