The Fundraising and Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the successful implementation of ITF’s fundraising strategies and plans, ensuring that all activities are executed on time and income targets are achieved. The post is part time for 28 hours per week and is based at our office in Oxford, England.

Volunteer Communications Assistant

WORKING closely with the Marketing and Communications Officer, you will have the chance to learn and contribute to all areas of our communications activity including content for our website and social media. You may also be able to contribute to our bimonthly E-newsletter and annual Trees Journal.

This is a chance to work as a volunteer at ITF’s office in Osney Mead, Oxford – and a valuable opportunity for someone wanting to gain experience in the not-for-profit conservation and development sector.  If you are looking for ways to gain employability, this is a great way to learn new skills whilst building confidence and contributing to our vital work.

If you are motivated, enthusiastic, well organised and tenacious, and especially if you have experience in communications and/or an interest in environmental and international development issues, then this is the perfect role for you.

We are looking for a self-starter with a “can do” attitude to work as a voluntary fundraiser with our team. You will have the chance to learn and contribute to all areas of our fundraising activity, managing your own projects and supporting others.

At the International Tree Foundation we plant, protect and promote trees and forests in the UK and internationally by working with communities to establish sustainable community forestry projects that benefit the environment, individuals and communities.

Working closely with our Finance and Facilities Manager, you will be asked to assistant with a wide range of office/ secretarial duties.
