ITF short story competition winners announced!

We are delighted to announce the winners of the ITF short story competition!
1st place – ‘Two Trees’ by Philippa Joy Okeke
Philippa Joy Okeke enjoys writing stories, teaching in a nursery and most of all being a mum. When she’s not helping children or plants grow, she loves travelling to new places, gathering ideas for stories along the way. She dreams of becoming a published author some day soon.
2nd place – ‘Hold the Golden Seasons’ by Joanne Fox

Joanne Fox has had short stories published in women’s magazines, the small press, and anthologies. She lives in the West Midlands and belongs to her local writers’ group.
3rd place – ‘The Oak Tree’ by Jacqueline Wilson
Jacqueline Wilson (no relation to the children’s author of the same name) was born in Kent. She was an executive Personal Assistant to Directors of a large company in the City. On her retirement she was able to concentrate on her hobbies of photography, architecture, historic houses and horticulture. She now lives in Sussex with her partner.
We would like to thank all the entrants to our 2011/12 short story competition, the entries were of a very high standard and we really enjoyed reading them!
