We are pleased to announce that ITF will continue funding The Joliba Trust in their in Dune Stabilisation and Tree Planting and Production projects in Mail, West Africa.
Dune Stabilisation – This project will be funded for one more year in 2009 and will be completed in 2018. The work will involved seven villages in districts of Dourou, Sangha, and Madougou who will carry out the stabilisation of sand dunes.
Tree Production and Planting – This project will be continued in 5 districts to provide local people with necessary tools and skills to improve their tree management. ITF have secured funding up until 2010.
