Introducing our five year Strategy

November 28, 2018News & EventsBy Nicola

We are excited to share with you our new five year strategy. It’s called Growing Together; for a number of reasons.

First, as ITF will continue to grow trees together with local communities. Second, ITF needs to grow over the coming years so that we can do more to support the growing number of communities trying to halt deforestation and promote reforestation. Third, we want to support the growth and capacity of community based organisations to lead the way. Fourth, we are inviting everyone who appreciates the importance of grass-roots community-led forestry and agroforestry to join with us and work together to restore a harmonious relationship with the natural world. And a world where our children can grow up healthily together with the trees and forests that sustain us and much of the living world.
