To celebrate International Women’s Day events are taking place around the UK and the rest of the world. The All Party Parliamentary Group on Agriculture and Food for Development have release an interesting report highlighting the benefits of promoting effective, ‘climate-smart’ agriculture in Africa. The report emphasises the need to channel funds for international development into initiatives that enable farmers to diversify and become more efficient.
