My favourite tree - The Baobab Tree
Lorraine joined ITF in October 2008. Prior to this she worked as CEO of both the Landscape Design Trust and the Environmental Investigation Agency. She also held interim roles as Head of Sustainable Funding and Head of Governance at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations. This followed a period of over 15 years in education and business publishing, seven years of which were based in Malawi and Ethiopia.
Lorraine has a MSc in Biodiversity Conservation with Distinction (Imperial College, London), a MSc in European Studies (LSE) and a degree in Business Studies (BA HONS). Her research interests have included the implications of climate change for transboundary protected areas in Southern Africa and the effect of the African bushmeat trade on forests. She has recently stood down after 4 years as Trustee of the African Conservation Foundation.

My favourite tree - Bristlecone Pine
John joined ITF in December 2010 and his role is to ensure the smooth running of the ITF website and social media platforms. John is a freelance web designer with a particular interest in how web technologies can be used to enable NGOs and charities work more effectively and communicate better with each other and their various stakeholders. In addition to working for ITF, John also designs and manages websites for a range of other charities and small businesses. John has an MA in Disasters, Adaptation and Development and a BSc in Environmental Science.
